Message in the realm of cheap knock-offs there is also a wide ranging scale of quality. you get the hack jobs that kinda look the same but are made out of pot metal and are sold by fly-by-nighters with dummy email accounts and then there are others with great customer service who are trying to run a reputable business by offering similar product's in quality and function without the premium pricetag. the consumers who are willing to sacrifice brand recognition for value on a similar product will always greatly outnumber the brand loyalists.

ebay stuff is a crapshoot unless you properly research what your buying. I realize that it has nothing to do with the OP's intent in posting but I think the people railing against those who are not willing to pay 20% more for a brand, or because the alternative is a copy are just being unrealistic. We would all love to be able to support the true innovators, but we all know what it means to be on a budget and cutting a few corners where possible can mean the difference between finishing your project or having to put it on hold because you ran out of money and still have no turbo's

anyway just my 2 cents. A lot of us love our Z's and in a sense have champeign taste on a beer budget. It'd be nice to say I would support the really good vendor's over cheaper alternatives but ideals fall by the wayside when it's that or having my car running. Some will surely say that I don't deserve to own a Z with that mentality, but if they did I'd probably say F-em and call them elitist pigs.

oye... long winded
